#401.30-RECRUITMENT - CERTIFIED

Recruitment of staff members for the District shall be the responsibility of the Superintendent or designee.

The following guidelines should be adhered to when recruiting:

A. A contract can be offered to a candidate who is under contract with another district only after the candidate receives a release from that district.

B. Applications and written communications, including recommendations concerning an applicant, shall be a confidential record of the District unless the person providing the communication designates otherwise in writing.

C. Salaries will be determined from the current salary schedule.

D. No temporarily certified teachers will be recruited without canvassing available placement services for fully qualified applicants.
