August 25, 2003 - This view is of the southeast corner of Ankeny High School and the main entrance to our Ankeny Family YMCA. This is where the main part of the addition will be located.

August 25, 2003 - This picture shows work just beginning on this project. The addition will provide a bonafide weather protected main entry to our High School from the south, additional space for physical education and student activities, added locker room space, an added classroom, and much needed additional space for the YMCA. Our School District and YMCA are sharing the $4.3 million cost.

August 25, 2003 - The addition will add nearly 40,000 sq. ft. Much of the existing adjacent area will also be remodeled, as part of this project.
