Northwest Elementary	Local Option Sales Tax Improvements
Northwest Elementary is being expanded to serve three sections per grade.  In addition, the building is being renovated to provide additional space for a new Media Center, Computer labs, Multi-purpose room, and an Art room.

	The old parking lot has been removed to start the new multi-purpose room addition.
August 2001, the old entrance was removed. To the right of the old entrance is the new Multi-purpose room. To the left of the old entrance is the new office area.	Looking down the hall into the new entrance.	If you were standing in this spot in July of 2001, you would have been standing in the entrance to Northwest, to the right is the old office. From this view you are looking into the hallway of the new addition. The doorway at the end of the hall is the new main entrance.
This is a photo of the new Multipurpose room as of mid-November.	Take a peek inside the new Multipurpose room as of May 2002.	Can you believe we still have green grass in December? This is the new Media Center. As you can tell the construction workers have completed a lot of brick work in the past month.

The Media Center was ready for students in May of 2002.		Moving out of the old Media Center!
A lot has happened in just two months! This is what the new office area looked like as of mid-October.	Look behind the equipment--the office now has a roof and red brick on one wall. This photo was taken a few weeks after the photo on the left.	The new Nurses Office.
Down this hall is the Nurse and Guidance Office, we are looking at the School Secretaries Desk.	Marcy Sparks hard at work, in Northwest's new office!	May 2002, the Nurses Office, is open for business!
	Progress is underway to update the old office
