Welcome to the ANKENY ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB website.  The Booster Club was organized to help promote the athletic programs at Ankeny High School.  Our mission is to encourage spirited attendance at all athletic events and to contribute monetary support to assist in the success of all our athletic programs.  The Booster Club site is your place to find out about Ankeny Athletics, Game Schedules, Directions to Games, Sponsorship and Membership information, Team Rosters, Upcoming Events, and much more.

The purpose or mission of the Booster Club is;

Promotion of attendance at athletic events.

To aid and assist in the advertising and promotion of athletic events.

To aid and assist in the management of athletic events under the direction of school officials in the capacity of ticket taking, ushering and other activities to help or manpower as needed.

To aid and assist in fundraising activities and to contribute monetary support whenever feasible.

To promote a high level of sportsmanship among participants, pupils, coaches and spectators alike.

The new Message Board by the Football stadium has been installed and is currently be readied with graphics.  The new message board will be able to be used for Football, Baseball, Track and Soccer.

Congratulations to coach Jerry Pezzetti who joined an elite group by winning his 300th career Football game. This wins places coach Pezzetti in 6th place among winning coaches in the state of Iowa.

  Ankeny will host a Cross Country Invitational meet at Otter Creek on September 28th, starting at 4:30pm.  A new addition to our Cross Country meets will be a display timer that will be placed on the course.

  Eight new Tennis courts are currently under construction at the Prairie Ridge sports complex.

  A new school record display board will be purchased and installed in the pool area.

  New batters cage's will be installed during the fall season of 2006 for Girls Softball.

  New foul poles are to be installed during the fall season of 2006 for the Baseball team.
