200.00 Statement of Guiding Principles

The purpose of having the District’s policies defined and published is to provide a reference about current District practices.

A set of published policies is an efficient way to establish operational direction for the Board, Superintendent, and other personnel. The policy book, along with the Master Contract and handbooks, serves as the guide for all people involved in making the Ankeny School District a quality educational environment.

Provisions for amending these policies have been made an essential part of the policy manual.
