301.30 Superintendent’s Professional Development
The board encourages the superintendent to continue professional growth by being involved in professional organizations, attending conferences, continuing the superintendent’s education, and participating in other professional activities.
It shall be the superintendent’s responsibility to arrange the superintendent’s schedule to allow for attendance at various conferences and events. If a conference or event requires the superintendent to be out of town for more than five consecutive contract days, the superintendent shall notify the board president prior to attending the event.
The superintendent shall share relevant information gathered at professional conferences and/or events with the board and/or staff.
