400.17 Work Hours and Time Recording

The work hours, work days, as well as parameters and flexibility related to each for certified and classified staff members are set forth in the relevant collective bargaining agreement.

The work hours and work days for employees who are not covered by collective bargaining agreements are determined by the relevant supervisor, within the parameters of the employee’s employment agreement and other applicable law and policy.

All non-exempt employees must follow designated District procedures for accurately and honestly recording time worked. Failure to adhere to these procedures, including but not limited to by filling out another employee’s time card, allowing an unauthorized employee to fill out your time card, and/or making unauthorized alterations to any time card may be grounds for discipline up to and including termination.

Salaried exempt employees also may be required to record time on the designated leave forms. They must follow designated District procedures for accurately and honestly recording time worked or may face discipline up to and including termination.
