405.10 Classified Employee Evaluation

Evaluation of classified employees on their skills, abilities, and competence is an ongoing process supervised by the Superintendent/designee. All new classified employees will be evaluated formally after the first year of employment. Thereafter classified employees will be evaluated formally at least once every 3 years or more frequently as needed. Informal evaluations may occur at any time at the discretion of the principal/or supervisor. The goal of the formal evaluation of classified employees is to maintain and recognize classified employees who meet or exceed the Board’s standards of performance, to clarify each classified employee’s role, to ascertain the areas in need of improvement, to clarify the immediate priorities of the Board, and to develop a working relationship between the supervisor and the employee.
