603.13 Procedural Safeguards and Due Process for Special Education

The Board recognizes that parents/guardians and their children with disabilities have certain rights under law. To protect these rights, the Board will follow the procedural safeguards and due process procedures for parents/guardians and students with disabilities outlined by the Heartland Area Education Agency which are hereby incorporated by reference into this policy.
