The Board of Education recognizes that the Ankeny Community School District is uniquely positioned to serve the entire community within its jurisdiction by providing access to education and recreation to support lifelong learning, civic engagement, economic improvement, cultural development, and individual improvement. Accordingly, when feasible, the Superintendent/designee makes recommendations for community education programs and makes the District’s facilities available for implementation of said programs.
