The Board encourages the District to collaborate with community organizations and community members to enhance the educational program when such collaboration directly correlates to and enhances teaching and learning.

Before using materials provided by an external organization, the relevant District employee(s) shall review the potential materials and ensure they are: aligned to District values, grade-level appropriate, complementary to the established curriculum, and free from solicitation or advertising.

Community organizations and/or individuals interested in providing free services of any kind to the District shall follow the District’s volunteer application and screening process, including completion of background checks.
