Ankeny Community School District will begin using text messages for the 2018-2019 school year to keep you informed of weather-related school delays and cancellations. The cell phone numbers entered in Infinite Campus will be the numbers used for weather-related texts.
When text messaging is activated, you will begin receiving texts. There's no need to opt-in, however you may opt-out if you prefer. Please note, you will still receive an email for weather-related notifications.

You may opt-out at any time by texting “STOP ANKENY.” You will receive the following reply: You are now confirmed to stop receiving text messages. More info, text reply “HELP” or go email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note, if you opt-out of text messaging, you are opting-out of ALL text messaging including weather-related notifications.
What if I opted-out, but later decide I would like to opt-in again?
