• Levels of Proficiency

    Rather than awarding points, students will be provided with specific academic targets and descriptions of what they need to know and be able to demonstrate to show they have met each standard. The grade book will no longer show points, rather it will provide levels of proficiency on "assignments" or work completed as evidence of student learning. Points are arbitrary and lack information on what students know and what they don't know. Using a more innovate and focused approach has benefits for students and teachers.
