Online Registration Guide for New Families
This guide is for families who do not have students enrolled in the Ankeny Community School District. If you are registering a student who is currently enrolled, please refer to the existing family registration guide.
To register your child(ren) in Ankeny Community Schools, please go to this website: https://campus.ankeny.k12.ia.us/campus/OLRLogin/ankeny and follow the instruction guides below or simply use the prompts on the screen. The system will prompt you to enter your name, child's enrollment year, and email. When you hit Submit, you will receive an email with a link to complete your online registration.
The online registration process is divided into sections that are made up of multiple subsections. Only one subsection at a time can be open to view and edit. You must review or complete every subsection on a tab before clicking on Save/Continue to get to the next tab. Besides the online registration system, please be sure to submit the other items necessary for enrollment based on the registration checklist.
Please note, once you begin the registration process, utilizing the forward or backward buttons on your browser can cause complications and should be avoided. For your reference, please write down your application number in case you need to refer back to it.
Due to enrollment shifts or programming needs (English learners, special education, etc), any newly enrolled elementary student(s) to the district may be assigned to a school which is not their neighborhood school. Please contact the registrar for more information and clarification.
- At the beginning of July and throughout the school year, parents can log into the TouchBase site to pay their fees.
