Ashland Ridge Elementary
Ashland Ridge Elementary opened its doors on August 14, 2008. The school was completed as part of a comprehensive facilities plan benefitting the Ankeny Community School District. Ashland Ridge is also part of a long-range plan committed to provide facilities supporting exemplary educational programs for students in the Ankeny Community School District. The school meets the needs of students and teachers today as well as providing flexibility for future educational needs and continued enrollment growth.

Our greatest contribution to the future of the students attending Ashland Ridge is to assure a safe, caring climate that promotes success for life.

Ashland Ridge Elementary is dedicated to providing a quality education for all students. We are a school community that centers on each student as a unique human being, with the understanding that each student is unique in his/her needs, interests and abilities. We are committed to developing good citizenship, motivation for life-long learning, and cultural appreciation. We further believe that education is both a right and a privilege and is the shared responsibility of parents, students and faculty.
