Ankeny Community School District building absence rate for students or staff, per five consecutive days. Rate is calculated based on guidance from the Iowa Department of Public Health.

When there is a low positivity rate, less than 5%, within ACSD coupled with a low positivity rate within Polk Country there will be on-site learning.

When there is a low positivity rate less than 5%, within ACSD coupled with a moderate positivity rate within Polk Country there will be on-site learning.

When there is a moderate positivity rate 5%-10%, within ACSD coupled with a moderate positivity rate within Polk Country there will be hybrid learning.

When there is a high positivity rate greater than 10%, within ACSD, coupled with a high positivity rate within Polk County there will be Remote/Online Learning, requiring the Department of Education’s approval

When there is a high positivity rate within Polk County and a low positivity rate within ACSD there will be hybrid learning.

When there is a moderate positivity rate within Polk County and a moderate positivity rate within ACSD there will be Remote/Online Learning, requiring the Department of Education’s approval.

When there is a high positivity rate within Polk County and a high positivity rate within ACSD there will be Remote/Online Learning, requiring the Department of Education’s approval.
