Health Amber Medici

My name is Amber Medici and I am a 6/7 health teacher at Prairie Ridge Middle School. I have taught Family and Consumer Science and Exploring Tech in the district throughout my teaching career as well.  Teaching health has always been a passion and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with my middle school students.

I attended Iowa State University for Community Health Education and an emphasis in fitness/wellness. I have since received my secondary teaching license, PE and FCS endorsements from Iowa State, and a Masters in Education from Drake University.

It is my goal to make a positive impact by helping my students recognize what they are passionate about, encourage them to give their best, and help them to be successful.
