4th Grade Amy Halstead

Hello, my name is Amy Halstead and I am so happy to be working here at Ankeny Schools.  I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics.   Previously, I taught for 7 years in Sioux Falls, SD and before that 2 years in Lone Tree, Iowa.  I have been in Ankeny schools since 2008.  I have taught  3rd grade, 4th grade, Title 1, and in a 3/4 combination room.  I now am working in a 4th grade classroom at Ashland Ridge.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and three boys.  We enjoy being outside and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs!
