Instructional Coach-Preschool Ashley Seiffert

Hello!

My name is Ashley Seiffert and I have been an educator with Ankeny Schools since Spring 2014. I began my career as an Early Childhood/Special Education Teacher and in 2018 I began serving as an Instructional Coach for the Ankeny Preschool Program. As an Instructional Coach, I get to partner with teachers, students, associates, and administrators in order to best meet the needs of our students and program. I am passionate about best practice instruction for early childhood and I love getting to see the growth that young children make from ages 3-5.

I graduated from Iowa State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood/Special Education. I have two special education endorsements from Iowa State and my reading endorsement from Morningside College. I graduated in 2019 with a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Morningside College which is in Professional Educator and Special Education Consulting. In May 2023, I will graduate with a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration and Transformative School Leadership from Iowa State.

I love working at Terrace Learning Center as we have a team of caring and talented professionals who work hard each day to instill a love of learning within their students, while also preparing them for their elementary career and beyond. In my free time, I love to spend time with my husband and our young son. We love boating, golfing, and cheering on the Cyclones!
