Preschool Teacher Erin Roche

Hi!  My name is Erin Roche (my preschool students call me Ms. Erin)  and I am a preschool teacher at Terrace Learning Center.  My husband, Jerry, and I live in Ames with our three daughters and out charcoal lab.

I received by B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Iowa State University in 2001 and received my Masters of Education and Reading Endorsement in 2012 from Viterbo University.  I have been teaching preschool in Ankeny since 2006.

As you can imagine, my family takes up most of my free time, but when I have a chance, I enjoy taking walks, camping, playing games and cheering on the Cyclones!

It is my mission to instill a love for school and learning in my students. I attempt to teach with passion and excitement in everything we do so that my students develop a desire to become life long learners.

I use Seesaw as a way to communicate and share pictures/videos with families throughout the school year.
