Since 2004, I have had the privilege of working in our district, and I am currently the Digital Learning Teacher at Prairie Trail Elementary. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University and my Masters Degree in School Library Studies from the University of Northern Iowa.

I teach Media Classes to students in grades K-5, fostering a love for reading, developing information literacy skills, and exploring the exciting world of computer science. Together, we learn how to navigate the library, evaluate and use resources effectively, and understand core computer science concepts like algorithmic thinking, pattern recognition, decomposition, and abstraction.

I am passionate about inspiring curiosity and preparing students with the skills they need to thrive in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
