Associate Principal Kathleen Steffen

Hello, Jaguars! I’m a proud Illinois native who transplanted to Iowa in 2011 and found my teaching home here. I kicked off my career at Harding Middle School in Des Moines, where I taught Literacy for 7 years and had a blast! In 2018, I joined the Prairie Ridge family as an administrator, and I haven’t looked back since. When I’m not at school, I’m hanging out with my husband and two daughters. I love staying active, cheering on the Cubs, Vikings, and Hawkeyes, and just soaking up all the fun life has to offer!
