Preschool Teacher Leah Miller

Hello,

My name is Leah Miller and I am a preschool teacher at Terrace Learning Center.  My husband, Kyle (a 4th grade teacher), and I live in Ankeny with our three boys, Gadson, Garrison and Gibson. I graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have endorsements in reading/language arts and special education. I obtained my masters in Teacher Effectiveness and Professional Development from Drake University in 2016. I have always taught preschool and started my teaching career in 2008. Outside of preschool I spend time with my family and friends: camping, traveling, and attending sporting events. With our summers off together we enjoy exploring new places. During the preschool year, we see so much growth, so many proud moments, and so many friendships being made. It makes for a rewarding experience!  Throughout the year, I will use Seesaw as a way to communicate as well as share pictures/videos with families.
