Language Arts Leslie Stratton

Hello! My name is Leslie Stratton Gookin, and I began teaching at ACHS in 2013. I am a proud Ankeny graduate, and I am excited to be teaching in my hometown. I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and my master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado. I currently teach English 10, AP Lang & Comp, Composition 12, Acting, and Intro to Theatre. I am also the drama director at ACHS.
