Hello!

I’m Lori Schaeffer and I have been fortunate to teach in the Ankeny School district for several decades. I currently teach 7th grade literacy at Parkview Middle School.  I firmly believe there is “magic in the middle” (school). My greatest hope is that my students will always remember how they felt in my classroom.

My education includes a BA in English education, MA in education , a middle school endorsement , and a reading endorsement.  My husband and I have three adult children, all graduates of Ankeny High School.  We continue to support AHS extra-curricular activities.
