Instructional Coach Pari Brown

Hello Rock Creek!

My name is Pari Brown and I am so excited to serve as an Instructional Coach at Rock Creek! 

I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology  in 2003 and a Master’s degree in Education in 2007, from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and received a K-8 Reading Endorsement from Morningside College in 2017. I was a classroom teacher for 16 years teaching kindergarten, 2nd grade and 3rd grade prior to becoming an Instructional Coach. I have been serving the Ankeny Community School district since 2008 at Southeast and Ashland Ridge.  I truly love being part of a child’s academic and social journey during the course of the school year. It has been a joy to work with the students and families in our community!

I am looking forward to collaborating with teachers and supporting our work with students to grow leaders both in and out of the classroom.
