Kindergarten Sara Walters

Hello!

I am Sara Walters, Kindergarten teacher at Prairie Trail. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a  degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood, Special Education and Literacy. I then continued on to get my Masters in Education from Northern Arizona University. I taught 3rd grade for 6 years in Arizona, before moving back home to Iowa. I started off at Westwood teaching kindergarten for one year and then helped open Prairie Trail, teaching kindergarten, where I have been ever since! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and 2 kids, Henley and Brecken. We like going to Iowa State sporting events and visiting our friends and family around Iowa!
