Principal Suvada Kuburas

Hello Rock Creek Community!

My name is Suvada Kuburas. I have the honor of serving Rock Creek students, staff, and community members as the principal of this amazing school. 

I graduated with my B.S. in Elementary Education in 2009 from Iowa State and I received my M.Ed in Educational Leadership in 2015 from Arizona State University. I have experience as a teacher, instructional coach, professional learning and leadership consultant, and now as a school administrator. 

I am driven by my passion for creating an equitable learning environment where students are honored for the assets they bring to our classrooms and where the educational experience we engage them in equips them with the confidence and skills to flourish in and contribute to our ever-changing world.
