Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Cullen G.E. Stevens
I am excited to begin another year of teaching in Ankeny, Iowa. Ankeny Centennial High School is an amazing school.
This school year will be my seventh year teaching in Ankeny. I taught at Ankeny High in 2011-13 and have been at Ankeny Centennial High School ever since. Before moving to Iowa in the summer of 2011, I taught at Lincoln Southwest High School in Lincoln, Nebraska for the 9 years. I currently teach Algebra 2, AP Statistics, Probability and Statistics, and Applied Math. My past classes in ACSD also include Geometry and Discrete Mathematics.
My family and I are continuing to explore all that Ankeny has to offer and we continue to appreciate how welcoming everyone has been. My wife, Megan, works locally as well. My children, Julianne and Charlie, are in 10th grade and 8th grade respectively. I earned my Bachelors Degree from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado and my Masters Degree from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.
Communication is important in the classroom and I fully expect students to stay on schedule with their daily work so that they may communicate any questions they have about the material. Please contact me any questions, comments, or concerns.
Availability: I am often available before and after school to assist students. Students should check in with me to confirm my availability.
Additional classroom information (daily assignments, student resources, and announcements) are posted on Google Classroom. Please have your student log in to their classroom and show you around if you are interested.
