Mr. Steven Hopper

Curriculum Technology Coordinator

Hi! My name is Steven Hopper, and I am proud to serve Ankeny as the Curriculum Technology Coordinator in the Teaching and Learning Department. In addition to technology, I support several other district initiatives from my office in the Annex including our school counseling program and our positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS) efforts. I joined the district in 2014 following a year with Heartland AEA.  Prior to that, I taught special education and technology for Des Moines Public Schools. It is an honor and privilege to serve a district that believes technology innovations can accelerate learning and assure success for all.  I welcome any opportunity to partner with students, teachers, administrators, and our community. Please reach out if you have ideas about how to improve the "Ankeny Experience".
