Mr. Ben Huebsch
Welcome! My name is Ben Huebsch (pronounced "hibsh"), and I am very excited to be a part of the Parkview team! The opportunity to serve in such an exemplary school community is one for which I am truly grateful. I look forward to working closely with the students, parents, and staff of Parkview to maintain and improve upon the already high levels of academic success.
While I once was a student in the Ankeny Community School District for eight years, I returned as an educator in 2013. Prior to my return, I spent five years teatching middle school math and three years as a elementary/middle school improvement specialist in Kansas. Before making the move to Parkview, I served as Northview Middle School's associate principal.
From the University of Kansas, I earned a bachelor's degree in middle/secondary education (with an emphasis in English and math) and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. I also hold a master's degree in school leadership from Baker University.
My wife and I live in Ankeny with our four children: Charlotte, Eleanora, Michael, and Emilia. Charlotte will be in sixth grade this year, Nora is in third grade, Michael is starting preschool, and Millie is just under two years old.
I thoroughly enjoy middle school students and staff and anticipate a greatly successful year at Parkview!
