Welcome New Ankeny Teachers!

Ankeny welcomed over 100 teachers to the district during our new teacher day event held at Southview Middle School Thursday, August 12. The theme was “Hit the Ground Learning.” The morning started with a large group meeting, prize drawings and keynote speaker Harvie Herrington, motivational speaker and published author. Educators then went into breakout sessions with principals and finished the day in their home buildings. We are excited for the upcoming school year and look forward to helping all students achieve personal success!
