Parkview students to be featured in Celebrating Art publication
Art Contest sponsored by Celebrating Art and Blick Art Materials
Parkview Middle School 6th graders, Alice Callahan and Arsenije Terzic were chosen in a nationwide contest to have their artwork featured in the Celebrating Art publication. Only the top 45% of the entries submitted are invited to be published! Publishing the accepted artwork from the 2022 contest creates a record of what is important to today’s students. The publication reflects the unique creativity and talent of the youth today. Visit the Celebration Art website to view more!
Alice Callahan said “It shows how people can be creative in any form if you put a little effort into it.” The featured artwork is a printmaking project showing a dinosaur with a volcano in the background.
Arsa Terzic said “Art is the enjoyment of doing something you like and expressing your creativity.” The featured artwork is a chalk pastel manikin study.
