Dance Marathon is Back!
Ankeny High School is excited to bring back Dance Marathon this April to raise funds for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. This event is an incredible opportunity for the community to come together and make a difference For The Kids!
How you can help
We have six weeks to fundraise, and every dollar counts! Donations can be made anytime to help support children in need.

Date: Sunday, April 6
Time: 1 PM – 7 PM
Location: Southview Middle School
Theme: This year’s color is purple, chosen by the senior class in honor of a classmate who embodied strength, joy, and a love for dance.
Who Can Participate?
- Students in grades 8-12 can register to be dancers.
- Anyone can donate to support the cause!
What Do Dancers Do?
A common question is, “Do I have to dance for 6 hours?” The answer is no! The only requirement is to stay on your feet for the full event while enjoying dancing, games, and fun activities—making it an experience anyone can participate in.
