If you have a child who will be five-years-old on or before September 15, 2019, please plan to attend this meeting at your current neighborhood attendance center. Kindergarten registration will happen through a 2 step process for the 2019-2020 school year.
Starting Friday, February 1, 2019 at 8 a.m. parents will be able to start enrolling their incoming kindergartener via online registration.
Attend the informational meeting on Thursday, February 7, 2019.
To read more about the process, complete the registration form, and prepare documentation for your upcoming kindergartener, please go to this website: https://www.ankenyschools.org/Page/3150. You can also find it through the District website at www.ankenyschools.org, under ParentsàEnrolling your StudentàKindergarten Registration.
Due to increased enrollment at the elementary level and limited space, parents are encouraged to enroll their upcoming kindergartener based on the process set forth by the district. If you are unsure if your eligible kindergartener is ready or not, please proceed forward with the enrollment process as you can always cancel the child’s enrollment at a later date.
