Congratulations to the Ankeny Centennial Wind Symphony for a fantastic performance at the Northern Iowa Band Invitational. The band performed “Clouds in Collage” by Tetsunosuke Kushida and “Suite in F for Military Band” by Gustav Holst.
As one of only four bands invited to participate in this festival, the Wind Symphony performed in the Great Hall of the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center and received a clinic from Dr. Ronald Johnson, Dr. Rebecca Burkhardt, and Dr. Danny Galyen.
“I couldn’t be prouder of the students. It was a wonderful day of music and learning and I am so glad that they were able to have this experience,” said Scott Hook, ACHS Director of Bands.
