High Schools Unite for Charity

ANKENY, Iowa (February 19, 2018) – Students from Ankeny High School and Ankeny Centennial High School raised $15,776.73 for the University of Iowa Children’s Miracle Network Hospital during Ankeny’s fourth annual Mini Dance Marathon.
On Saturday, February 17, students danced the night away and participated in games like Trivia Crack, hot-shot basketball, giant Jenga, karaoke, and more.
In the last four years, Ankeny's Dance Marathon has raised more than $85,000. 


Dance Marathon is a student-run event, created by the Children’s Miracle Network, hosted on college and university campuses around the country to raise funds for local affiliate’s children hospitals. There are currently more than 150 different Dance Marathon programs throughout the country.
