Ankeny Centennial Dance Team: National Champs in Pom
Congratulations to the Ankeny Centennial Dance Team for being named National Champions in the Pom Division at the National Dance Alliance (NDA) Championships in Orlando, Florida. The Jaguars claimed the title of Best in Category for their Pom routine earning the highest score out of 100 other dance teams. The routine also received the Innovative Choreography Award. The Jags are the first Iowa high school dance team in history to bring home a National Championship title! The dance team also placed fifth in kick performance and sixth in their jazz performance.
The dance team practices several times a week and performs at many of our athletic events throughout the year. Congratulations and job well done to the team:

The team is coached by Madison Zirretta, Jill Petersen, and Alayna Graeve.
