A team from Crocker Elementary won this year's district-wide Reading Relays. About 230 fifth graders made up of 59 teams competed within their buildings to qualify for the district competition. Sixteen teams, representing all ten elementary schools, qualified for the finals at Westwood Elementary. The traveling trophy now moves to Crocker Elementary to be on display for the year.
The following teams received medals and certificates to purchase books from the Reading Relays’ Library Store:

2nd – Ashland Ridge, Double Trouble: Emmy Olberding, Allison Moen, Aly Drefke, Emma Semrow, coached by Amy Neville
3rd – Rock Creek, Sharp Arrow: Owen Leichti, Rosie Howieson, Reece Dickinson, Randy Li, coached by Megan Walsh
4th – Northwest, The Wise Owls: Sophia Schleicher, Evie Stevens, Kira Hockensmith, Hanna Thompson, coached by Kayla Athy
