301.20 Superintendent of Schools-Functions

The Superintendent will be the chief executive officer of the School District and will have, under the direction of the Board, general supervision of all of the public schools, personnel, and various departments of the District. The Superintendent is responsible for the management of the schools under the Board's policies and goals and is accountable to the Board.

The Superintendent may delegate to other District personnel the exercise of any powers and the discharge of any duties imposed upon the Superintendent by these policies or by vote of the Board.
