310.10 Stipends for Services Rendered

A stipend is defined as reimbursement received for services rendered. Administrators are occasionally in a position to receive stipends while on contract time of the District. The administrator may use their personal day/s, vacation time, or other leave for this purpose, as determined by the Superintendent/designee. The following will be considered:

  1. The number of such requests approved and the number of days involved;
  2. The total number of days the administrator has been released from duties for any reason;
  3. The benefit to the District;
  4. The benefit to the administrator;
  5. The timeliness of the request; and
  6. The administrator's selection of the option of taking leave or surrendering the stipend to the District.
