Public Input: Title Funding
Title funds are federal monies that are meant to supplement, not replace, existing state funding for education. In Ankeny, we have used Title funds to support initiatives to improve student learning and strengthen their school experience.
As a part of the process, we have posted the title budgets in this form and would like your feedback. We recently received the information on our funding from the state, and our application is due October 30, therefore our timeframe is short. Public comment will be accepted until Saturday, October 30.
The final application will be presented to the board for approval at the November 7 board meeting. We will use this feedback to inform allowable adjustments to this year’s budget and inform planning for the next school year.
