Confidential counseling services are available for Ankeny Community Schools employees and students through the EFR Workplace Services Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Counselors are available by phone for questions and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. You may schedule an in-person appointment from 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (Monday through Thursday) and 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Friday). To schedule call 515-244-6090. Junior Achievement (JA) of Central Iowa’s mission is to empower students with a skillset and mindset to create a bright future. As K-12 grade experts in career education, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, JA connects business and school communities through their volunteer network to deliver relevant, inspiring, and standard-aligned educational experiences. Youth benefit from Junior Achievement via JA BizTown, JA Finance Park, in-school programs, digital platforms, competitions, and camps. Annually, JA of Central Iowa serves over 21,000 students with nearly 300,000 instructional hours across their 52 county territory.
