Clear, accurate, quality communication with the public is one of the primary goals of the Ankeny Community School District Communications Department. We work to ensure the community knows about the important issues and work of their school district. Our department is responsible for all media requests, internal and external communications, maintaining district websites, managing social media, district primary publications, and overseeing the use of ACSD logos and brand material.

In 2021, the Ankeny Community School District Communications Department received two Best in Category awards for:
