School Improvement Advisory Council (SIAC) – The SIAC serves in an advisory capacity to provide feedback to the District in key areas including but not limited to school improvement efforts, educational needs, student learning goals, and bullying prevention.

Meets from 6:00-7:30 pm, 4x per year

Meeting Dates: Oct. 24, 2022, Feb. 13, 2023, Apr. 10, 2023, June 12, 2023

Professional Development (PD) Committee – The school district is required by Iowa law (SF277) to have a Professional Development Committee. The committee is made up of equal representation of teachers and administrators. The role of the committee is to:

• Monitor implementation of the Student Achievement and PD Program,
• Determine the use and distribution of professional learning funds,
• Monitor professional learning, and
• Monitor the district teacher evaluation requirements.
