5th Grade Abby Koch

Hello Rock Creek Community!

My name is Abby Koch and I am a 5th grade teacher here at Rock Creek!

I graduated with my Elementary Education degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 2011, and went on to earn an endorsement in reading. I have experience teaching first, third, and fifth grades and spent the first five years of my career teaching in the state of Texas.

I am truly honored to have the opportunity to serve my community, and to be able to make a difference in the lives of my students. I am driven by my passion to help students not only grow and learn, but to also gain confidence in who they are as human beings. I believe in creating a safe and loving community of students who are challenged, and encouraged to create, inquire, and flourish!
