Instructional Coach Alicia Mateer

An Iowa native, I completed my undergrad at UNI and earned my Masters degree from Drake in Teacher Effectiveness and Professional Development. I have been an educator with ACSD since 2007, and currently serve the district as an an instructional coach. My goal as a coach is to be a positive and supportive advocate for the growth and empowerment of both teachers and students. I truly enjoy this role, as I have the privilege of partnering with teachers while they work to achieve their professional goals. In my free time I enjoy reading, camping, and am a fan of both Iowa State and the St. Louis Cardinals.
