Literacy Coach Amber Mortenson

Hello! My name is Amber Mortenson and I have been a part of our Ankeny teaching community since 2006. I have taught in the classroom, kindergarten through third grade. I’ve also been a Literacy Leader in multiple buildings and an Instructional Coach at Prairie Trail Elementary. I currently serve as the District Literacy Coach of PK-5. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Northern Iowa as well as my Master’s Degree from Drake University.
