Digital Learning Teacher Amy Neville

Hello, my name is Amy Neville and I am happy to be working in Ankeny Schools.  I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. I also have a Masters degree in Educational Technology from UNI.  Along my teaching career I have added other endorsements to my education journey.  These include a Coaching endorsement, English Language Learner endorsement, and my most loved Library endorsement.  Previously, I have taught 4th grade for 6 years at Holy Trinity School in Des Moines,  I taught 1st grade for 4 years, and 3rd grade for 5 years in Johnston.  I have also been an adjunct professor at Upper Iowa University and taught elementary education methods courses.  I have been teaching in Ankeny since 2013.  I am now teaching in the library as a Digital Learning Teacher. Other job titles you may know me as are librarian, or media teacher.  In my spare time I like to be with my husband and three children,  We enjoy being outdoors, cheering on our children as they participate in swimming and cross country, and of course cheering on our beloved college sports.
