1st Grade Amy Sobaski

Hello!

My name is Amy Sobaski, and I am happy to be a teacher at Rock Creek!  My own children came to this school, so I have experienced it as both a teacher and a parent.  There are so many good things happening here!

I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Iowa State University, and completed my Masters Degree, also in Early Childhood Education, through University of Northern Iowa.  I also completed my Reading Endorsement through Drake University.  Throughout my career, I have spent time teaching preschool, kindergarten, and for the last several years, first grade.

Every day, I strive to provide a safe, positive, learning environment, where all students experience success in both academics and life skills.  One of my favorite things about being a teacher is seeing students grow in so many ways!
